A rally organized by the Support for the Tullytown Police Department Facebook group is set for Tuesday evening.
“Time to SHOW our support, instead of talking about it,” a Facebook event posting says. The event posting also notes the event is set to be peaceful.

The rally will be held at the Tullytown municipal building on Main Street at 6 p.m. Organizers say the rally is rain or shine.
The “Justice for Joey” rally held last week was sparsely attended. Rain and cold weather is believed to have held down attendance.
Controversy erupted last month when 14-year-old Joey Williams was tasered along Route 13 after he fled police custody. Many raised concerns about how borough police handled the incident and asked whether Williams’ injuries were from more than just a taser barb.

Both sides of the controversy have claimed threats have been made against supporters.
