Organizers ย of ย the “Justice for Joey” rally met Monday with Tullytown officials ย to communicate the “true intentions” for the rally set for Wednesday ย as wintry storm ย is set to throttle the area.

In two separate conversations Monday morning, rally organizers Gregg Brinkley and Ed Lloyd repeated their intentions were to hold a “peaceful rally” while exercising their constitutional rights and express that “outrage” to Tullytown officials.

Both said that the incoming in climate weather would not delay not cancel rally, adding, ” it won’t stop us” and “we’re going to meet with Tullytown officials so we can go through the proper channels and raise the proper questions on behalf of a 14-year-old brutalized by police, but we will be doing that peacefully,” Lloyd said.

“Injustice doesn’t take a break for anything, weather included,” he said vociferously.

Later on, the organizers characterized their meeting with officials as “productive.”

“Tullytown is working with us so the rally and its attendees do what they came to do and leave,” they said.

Organizers said they would be providing their own marshals at the rally to insure proper and orderly conduct while a “raising of the issues” goes on peaceably.

Lloyd said that he’s contacted the Bucks County District Attorney on Sunday to discuss his recent comments in another publication which believes ย clearly shows a “bias” on the DA’s part.

“He’s focused on the threats to police. What about the threats I’ve received? The threats on all those social media towards supporters of ours?”

Heckler told LevittownNow.com last Wednesday that any “credible” threat would be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.

Still, both organizers, who are also private investigators, said they have contacted the state attorney general’s office and the U.S. Department of Justice requesting those authorities take over the investigation.

Attempts to reach ย Sellers and other Tullytown officials for comment on Monday were unsuccessful.

“We’re all on the same page,” the organizers said. “We plan to arrive around 1:30 and don’t expect the be in the area later than 3:30.”

Lloyd said there would be private marshals as ย a standard operating procedure walking in and around the rally for safety purposes.
