Schools Announce Plans For Monday Due To Snow

Due to the winter storm hitting the area on Sunday into Monday, several school districts have announced closures or at-home learning days.

Bristol Borough School District:

“Out of the abundance of caution and the briefing by weather experts, the Bristol Borough School District Buildings will be closed and all classes will be run asynchronous on Monday, January 26, 2026. ….. All Students are expected to log in to their Google Classrooms to complete all assignments. Attendance will be recorded in each class and determined by completion of assignments.”

Bristol Township School District:

“Due to the significant impact of the winter storm, the Bristol Township School District will be closed for a Snow Day on Monday, January 26 for all students and staff. There are no instructional responsibilities on Monday for students or instructional staff. Stay safe and enjoy the day!

“Please follow our communication portals for further updates and information as we navigate this challenging winter weather.”

Bucks County Technical High School:

“Due to the effects of our major winter storm, Bucks County Technical High School and its offices will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th. Students will have an asynchronous learning day, along with Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, due to the SkillsUSA competition.

“The Monday evening Joint Board Committee meeting will be held via Zoom. We will assess conditions on Monday afternoon and make a decision regarding Tuesday morning.

“Everyone enjoy the snow and stay safe. Thank you.”

Neshaminy School District:

“All Neshaminy schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26. Afternoon and evening activities are also postponed or canceled.

“This will be a full “snow day” with no online learning expectations.”

Pennsbury School District:

“After assessing the potential impact of the storm, all Pennsbury schools and offices will transition to a Remote Learning Day on January 26, 2026.ย ย

“All classes and work will be remote on Monday, January 26.”

Holy Family University – Newtown:

“Holy Family will operate virtually on Monday, January 26.”
