A tactical team caught attention Friday morning on a normally-quiet street in Bristol Township’s Levittown section.

Around 7:45 a.m., neighbors reported seeing a Lenco Bearcat armored vehicle and tactical officers carrying long guns take up positions outside a residence in the 50 block of Border Rock Road.
The activity appeared to involve the multi-jurisdictional South Emergency Response Team.
Bristol Township police officers blocking off the street to traffic as the armored vehicle and marked and unmarked police vehicles pulled up.

According to a neighbor, the police response had died down at the location by 8:15 a.m.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was taken into custody during the incident.
Police were not immediately available for comment.
