Father Of Murder Victim Sentenced For Bristol Twp. Shooting

A man is headed to state prison for a Bristol Township shooting.

Terrance Oliver Hall, 51, a former Bristol Township resident who recently lived in Newark, Delaware, pleaded guilty last Friday at the Bucks County Justice Center to three counts of aggravated assault and one count each of prohibited possession of a firearm, firearms not to be carried without a license, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, possessing an instrument of crime, criminal mischief, and possessing, using, making, repairing, selling, or otherwise dealing in an offensive weapon.

Bucks County Judge Brian McGuffin sentenced Hall to 8 to 20 years in state prison. He also additionally ordered him to serve 20 years of probation, according to the district attorney’s office.

In court papers, investigators wrote the shooting happened around noon on October 18, 2020 in Bristol Township’s Bloomsdale-Fleetwing section.

Hall shot at a man who was in his Buick near the corner of Mitchell Road and Fleetwing Drive, police said.

The man who was fired upon told investigators he heard Hall yell “yo!” before opening fire. He recalled leaning over as bullets penetrated his vehicle’s passenger compartment, police said.

“[The man] counted six separate gunshots fired at him as he was inside his Buick …. he thought that he was going to be killed as bullets hit the vehicle,” a detective wrote in court papers.

The man in the Buick rushed out of the neighborhood once Hall stopped shooting and went to his home, calling police from there, court papers stated.

The man in the Buick was not hurt, police said.

Tevon Moore-Hall, 21, a resident of Bristol Township and Hall’s son, died after being shot in the 1700 block of West Glenwood Avenue of Philadelphia in June 2020. His killer has not been caught.

Police said before the October 2020 shooting in Bristol Township, Hall had posted videos to social media that he was angry about his son’s death and he would avenge it.

The man who was shot at knew Hall, according authorities.

Also last week, Hall pleaded guilty to two counts each of fleeing or attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving and one count of accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle. He was sentenced to 3 ½ years to seven years in state prison in those cases. The sentenced will run concurrently.

In those cases, Hall was was involved in police chases in Newtown Township and Lower Southampton Township.

Hall has been behind bars since his arrest last summer.
