Car That Struck Person In Bensalem Fled Into Croydon, Cops Say

Bensalem Township police are seeking a vehicle that struck a person and fled into Bristol Township.

The crash happened Saturday at 8:55 p.m. at Knights and Dunksferry roads.

A male pedestrian was crossing Knights Road when he was struck by the car and was critically injured. The man was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, police said.

The four-door sedan that struck the man fled toward Street Road, made a right onto Street Road, traveled onto northbound State Road, and crossed in Bristol Township’s Croydon section, police said.

The striking vehicle was suspected of being a 1998 to 2002 Honda Accord with front-end damage and a broken windshield, police said.
