Harry S. Truman High School has appointed Dr. Kyle Hoffman as the school’s new athletic director and assistant principal.

The move comes as the Bristol Township High School gets ready for the fall sports season.
Hoffman replaces Tim Monaghan, who will remain at Truman as an assistant principal with a focus on school culture and instructional leadership.
In her role as athletic director, Hoffman will direct Truman’s interscholastic sports program. She will work with coaches, student-athletes, families, and community members to encourage athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and student-athlete development.

“I’m grateful and excited for the opportunity to continue serving the Bristol Township community as athletic director,” Hoffman said. “My focus will be building on our proud traditions and creating meaningful opportunities for every student to learn, lead, compete, perform, and belong.”
Hoffman worked as a Health and Physical Education teacher in the Bristol Township School District since 2020. Her local coaching background includes girls’ volleyball, field hockey, girls’ basketball, boys’ bowling, and softball.

Additionally, Hoffman has served the district as a faculty manager and athletic site supervisor.
Outside the district, she has served as a community softball director, a PIAA-certified official in four sports, and an NCAA softball official.
“Dr. Hoffman’s leadership, passion for education, and commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes make her an outstanding choice to lead Truman’s athletic program,” Truman Principal Jon Craig said. “We look forward to the positive impact she will have on our students and school community.”

A former collegiate student-athlete, Hoffman holds a Bachelor of Arts in health and exercise science from The College of New Jersey, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Holy Family University, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in educational leadership from the American College of Education. She is also recognized as a Certified Registered Athletic Administrator by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).
“We are excited to see the excellent work Dr. Hoffman will do in her important new role,” Superintendent Michael Nitti said.
