Local Cops Request Tips After Man Enters Locked Vehicles

Falls Township authorities are requesting the public’s help to track down a man seen breaching locked vehicles early Sunday morning.

Per the Falls Township Police Department, the suspect was spotted entering locked vehicles throughout the Fallsington Woods neighborhood at around 4:45 a.m.

Ring camera video captured the suspect entering one vehicle in the development.

Some tips to protect your ride from thieves:

Control your keys:ย do not leave keys in the vehicle or the engine running unattended; avoid ID tags on your key ring.

Lock up:ย close windows and lock doors every time, even at home. Check to confirm before your head to bed.

Remove or conceal valuables:ย best practice is to take them with you; otherwise store items out of sight.

Add security:ย an audible alarm or a disabling device such as an engine/fuel kill switch.

Choose safer parking:ย well-lit, visible areas with regular foot traffic; use your garage when possible.

Keep records at home:ย your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), a description of your vehicle, and serial numbers for installed equipment to assist recovery.
