UPDATE: Final Vote Tally In Neshaminy School Board Race Changes Outcome
Some new faces will be on the Neshaminy School Board when it reorganizes next month.
In Region 1, incumbent Republican Cyndie Bowman, a teacher who has served on the board for four years, kept her seat against challenger social worker Dana Feldsher, a Democrat.

Incumbent Republican John Allen held his seat against Democrat Elizabeth Mitchell for Region 2. Allen, a utility contractor and control systems field engineer, has served on the school board for several years. Mitchell is a longtime educator.
In Region 3, Alicia Lafferty, who was filed as both a Democrat and Republican, and Republican Tanya Rinkus won the two open seats. Democrat Kellen Sporny did not gain enough votes to win. Rinkus was a running mate to Lafferty.
School board members oversee school districts. They establish policies and regulations, evaluate results of the schools, adopt courses and textbooks, hire staff, levy taxes, deal with facilities, and suspend or expel pupils from school under certain conditions.
