Two Bristol Borough High School students are facing charges after an incident following Friday night’s home football game.

Borough Police Chief Joe Moors said police petitioned Saturday night for felony charges against the two minors for attempted robbery.
The incident took place on the walking path located behind the high school, police said.
No injuries were reported, and the case remains under active investigation, according to Moors.

The two teens were taken into custody by police and processed through the Bucks County Youth Center in Doylestown Township.
Because both students are under the age of 18 and have not been charged as adults, their case records are not public.

In an email sent to parents, Acting Superintendent Christopher McHugh, who is also the school district’s business manager, confirmed the arrests and the felony attempted robbery charges.
“There is no further danger to the community,” McHugh assured parents.
The arrests came after the Friday night contest at the borough high school’s stadium. The Bristol Borough High School Warriors fell to the Executive Education Academy Charter School by a score of 48-33.
