A planned seafood eatery in Levittown is getting a liquor license.
Crab Du Jour, which is planning to take the former Great American Diner and Pub spot at the corner of Veterans Highway (Route 413) and East Lincoln Highway, received approval Monday evening from the Middletown Board of Supervisors to transfer a liquor license from Upper Southampton to the township.

A representative for Crab Du Jour said the eatery plans to put $300,000 in to renovating the former diner that closed earlier this year. There no exact opening date.
The sign for Crab Du Jour appeared outside the building in June. The seafood eatery recently opened an affiliated, but not owned, restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina and plans to open more locations in the coming months.
The former Great American Diner and Pub previously had a liquor license, which had expired and is no longer valid.
