A Morrisville man is being charged after fleeing from Falls Township police officers.
Dyllan Malka, 26, caught police attention when he flew through a stop sign in the area of North Oxford Valley Road on Sunday, July 2. An officer activated his emergency lights on his patrol car and he pulled over in the area of Collision Max on Lincoln Highway, according to court papers.

When the officer asked Malka to turn off the car and began speaking with him, the 26-year-old told the officer that he was being followed and was driving so quickly to escape his pursuer, police said.
The officer asked Malka for insurance and registration information and found that the car, a Toyota Sienna minivan, had no insurance. Malka then revealed to the officer that he did not in fact have a license to operate the car. Malka told the officer that he would call his fiancรฉe to pick him up, police said.
While Malka was on the phone, the officer ran his name and found that he was wanted in Bucks County. The officer requested a backup car and the two officers approached the car where Malka had since rolled up the windows and locked the doors, police said.

Malka affirmed that his fiancรฉe was en route and became angry and hesitant when officers asked him to step out of the car, police said.
When the officers ordered Malka out of the car, he started it, put it in drive and sped away as one of the officers tried to put his hand into the car and stop the 26-year-old, police said.
