Family and friends said at least two people, a Bucks County couple, were killed in the crash.

At least one person died in an early Sunday morning crash on Route 1 between the Oxford Valley and Route 13 exits in Falls Township.
According to sources, one person was pronounced dead shortly after emergency responders arrived to the crash scene around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Three vehicles were involved, with one ending up in the northbound lanes and two in the southbound lanes, Fairless Hills Fire Department Deputy Chief Tony Montonario said.
Firefighters went to work to free three people trapped in one vehicle and one in another, the deputy chief said. He added that extrication took about 30 minutes.

Four people were rushed from the scene by medics. Their condition as of Sunday afternoon was unknown.
Firefighters remained on the scene until about 8 a.m. providing lighting and assisting police investigate the wreck. Montonario said Fairless Hills’ ladder truck was used to take above-ground photos of the crash site.
The portion of Route 1 near the scene was closed until around 9:30 a.m.
