As the Neshaminy School District prepares to embark on its hunt for a new superintendent, a survey seeking input from the public has been released.
The district said in a statement that the school board is “interested in hearing from the Neshaminy community regarding the strengths, challenges, goals, and personal attributes that will help determine the candidate who will be the best fit for the district through a Superintendent Search Survey.”

The district said in their statement that all responses are anonymous and confidential. They asked that all stakeholders only respond once to the survey, which is also available in hard copy form at all Neshaminy schools.
The roughly 10-minute-long survey will close at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 23.

The district is working with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit to find a new superintendent.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Gloria Hancock has been filling the interim superintendent position since September. Hancock, who began working at Neshaminy in 2013, received a pay bump to her annual salary of $166,400. Her benefits remain the same, according district spokesperson Chris Stanley.

The district has been without a permanent leader since former Neshaminy Superintendent Dr. Robert Copeland left for the Lower Merion School District in Montgomery County toward the end of last school year.
