Bristol Borough welcomed two new council members during their annual reorganization meeting on Monday evening.
Tony Riccio, representing the West Ward, and Louis Quattrochi, representing the South Ward, were sworn in as new members of the council. Tony Devine, of the North Ward, and Greg Pezza, of the East Ward, were also sworn in as members re-claiming their seats.

The members were sworn in by Judge Frank Peranteau of Bristol, who headed to swear in Middletown officials after the borough ceremony.
Ralph DiGuiseppe took his familiar position of council president, and Betty Rodriguez was elected the vice president of the council.
“I would just like to thank everyone for putting their trust in me for 12 consecutive years,” DiGuiseppe said after ascending to the chair of council president.

“I’m here to do the best that I can,” Rodriguez said.
During the reorganization meeting, William Salerno was reaffirmed as the solicitor.

Throughout 2016, the council will continue to meet on the first and second Mondays of the month at 7 p.m.
