A 21-year-old motorcyclist who allegedly fled from a police officer in Bristol Township was charged this week.

Justin Uttley of Levittown was charged Monday with various drug and traffic offenses and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer. The charges were sent via mail summons to Uttley.

An officer spotted Uttley driving a blue Suzuki motorcycle without plates on north Edgely Road around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. The 30-year-old was also not wearing a helmet and eye wear, police said.
According to court papers, an officer began following the motorcycle and activated emergency lights and sirens. The vehicle was reported to be going over 100 MPH. Uttley made a right onto New Falls Road and then into the Appletree section of Levittown, police said.
Court papers outline that the chase went through the Appletree section and ended on New Falls Road where Uttley ditched the motorcycle after fishtailing.

Officer John Rink was able to catch Uttley on foot nearby, police said.
According to court papers, four bags with white powder residue were found along with two $20 bills with similar resident. Later testing on one of the bags confirmed the white substance was meth.
