Police in Falls Township are warning residents of Levittown’s Thornridge neighborhood to make sure they lock the doors on their vehicles and take all valuable items out at night.
Lt. Todd Pletnick said the thefts began within the past month. Almost all of the thefts from vehicles have happened in the evening and nighttime hours.

One incident involved a rock being thrown through a car window, Pletnick said. He added that a purse was in plain view from the window in that case.
Bucks County Holds Pandemic Drill
In a recent incident in Thornridge, police reported a suspicious person in the area of a carport. The resident chased the person away, Pletnick said. It is not known if this incident is connected to the thefts.

Police have stepped up patrols in the neighborhood and are asking residents to call 9-1-1 if they see anything suspicious.
