Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob the Bank of America on East Trenton Avenue in Morrisville Borough.
According to scanner reports, the suspect passed a note to a teller and fled without getting any money Saturday shortly before noon.

As of press time, it was unclear if a weapon was used.
The suspect was described in emergency radio reports as a middle-aged white male, stocky build, white shirt, blue pants, glasses and a black knit cap.
Officers from several municipalities reportedly searched area around the bank for the suspect who fled on foot.

Saturday’s attempted robbery take place less than a mile away from two Falls Township bank robberies along West Trenton Avenue in recent weeks.

The suspect description in all three robberies are similar. In all three cases, police said the suspect fled on foot.
Falls police Lt. Todd Pletnick told LevittownNow.com yesterday that detectives and the FBI were looking to see if previous bank robberies along the road were related. He added that a connection between robberies in Ambler, Horsham, Wrightstown and Yardley was being looked into.
