
The PNC Bank in the Morrisville section of Falls Township was robbed Friday morning.
Lt. Todd Pletnick said a man walked in the bank, located at 301 West Trenton Avenue, just before 9:30 a.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller gave the man an undisclosed sum of money.

No one was hurt and no weapon was displayed, Pletnick told LevittownNow.com. The suspect was reported to have fled the bank on foot and headed toward the Delaware River.
The suspect is described by police as being 6 foot tall with a stocky build and wearing a dark gray hoodie and a black scarf. Pletnick said the man used the scarf to partially cover his face during the robbery.
Officers searched the area surrounding the bank. Pletnick believes that police dogs were unable to track the man the man’s scent due to the rainy weather.

Pletnick said police and the FBI are investigating to see if those two robberies are connected. He added investigators are checking to see if Friday’s robbery could be connected to the man the FBI believes is responsible for robberies in Ambler, Horsham, Wrightstown, Yardley and over the past year.
