According to the FBI and Falls Township police, the suspect in Saturday morning’s robbery of the TD Bank branch located at 346 West Trenton Avenue in the section Morrisville of the township remains on the loose.

The robber is described as a white male in his late 50s, approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, medium build, short “salt and pepper” hair, slight facial stubble and wearing glasses, according to the FBI. The suspect was donned a brownish jacket with a lighter-colored collar, jeans and a plaid “newsboy” flat cap.
Authorities said the man walked into the bank at 9:59 a.m. and made a verbal demand to a teller. While he did not show a gun, he implied he was armed.
The man made off with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot, the FBI said. He was last seen headed west of West Trenton Avenue.

Officers from several departments assisted Falls units in searching for the suspect in the area around the bank.
The FBI the said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The TD Bank in the 300 block of West Trenton Avenue in the Morrsiville section of Falls Township was robbed Saturday morning.
Police were called to the bank at around 10 a.m. for reports of a bank robbery, a police dispatcher said.

According to scanner reports, the suspect was an unshaven older white man wearing glasses, a dark colored wind breaker and hat. He implied he had a weapon.
The suspect was reported to have fled on foot after making off with cash, which sparked a police search of surrounding neighborhoods.

As of 11:30 a.m., the bank was closed and police were still at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released further details on the robbery.

Just before 7 a.m., a man attempted to rob the TD Bank in Abington, Montgomery County.
The suspect fired two shots during the attempted robbery and fled in a black truck without leaving any injuries, 6abc.com reported.
No word on whether the two incidents are related.
