Bucks County Community Collegeย announced yesterday the board of trustees approved a tuition increase for the two -year college ย starting with the Fall 2013 semester.
In a statement released late Friday afternoon, school officials say the $6 per credit hour hike for in-county residents, ย from $116 to $123 is part of the schools “on going strategy of incremental increases. ”

“The 14-0 vote came at the boards monthly meeting Thursday,” the release says.
For out-of -county residents, ย the increase is ย $12 as the per-credit hour rate goes from $234 to $246, and out-of-state residents will pay an $18 increase as the credit per hour rate rises ย from $351 to $369.
The release says the change means a typical student registering for 12 credits a semester will pay $3,866 for 24 credits during the 2013-14 academic year including technology and activity fees.
