

A three-vehicle crash on the Delaware River Turnpike Bridge left one man seriously injured earlier this month, according to the Pennsylvania State Police press release issued last week.

The crash happened on Friday, April 10, at 2:26 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the bridge, which connects I-95 to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey turnpikes.
State police reported that the incident involved a 2012 Acura MDX, a 2006 Toyota Sienna, and a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox.
The crash happened as traffic began to slow on the bridge in Bristol Township, state police said.

The driver of the Toyota, who as a 34-year-old man from Philadelphia, sustained a serious injury.
The injured man was transported by the Bucks County Rescue Squad to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia for further care.

Two of the three vehicles involved sustained enough damage to be rendered inoperable and required being towed from the bridge, state police said.
Troopers stated that all three drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the impact.
As of last week, no citations have been issued.
