Firefighters from Bristol, Bristol Consolidated, Goodwill Hose, and America Hose, Hook, and Ladder, along with Bristol Township crews, were dispatched to the Express Laundromat at 2:25 p.m. after reports of a building fire.
Once they pulled up, firefighters reported heavy smoke billowing from the front of the commercial building, according to Bristol Borough Fire Chief Herb Slack.
Firefighters stretched a hose line into the interior, where they located two dryers on fire.

According to Slack, the blaze was quickly extinguished and did not spread beyond the few machines.
Crews remained on the scene to secure utilities and ventilate the building.

An investigation into the cause determined the fire was accidental, Slack said.
At the scene, crews found that the fire originated in a bottom dryer before spreading to the unit directly above it. Both machines sustained extensive damage, according to the chief.
No injuries were reported, and all companies cleared the scene after approximately one hour.
