At around 1:09 p.m. on June 20, a Bristol Township police officer patrolling the area near a 7-Eleven on Veterans Highway (Route 413) got word of a gold Infinity sedan with a registration plate that belonged to a Toyota. The registration was reported to be suspended, according to police reports.
The Infinity was observed traveling northbound on Veterans Highway.
The officer attempted to pull over the vehicle near Rockview Drive, but the driver turned into a business complex along Veterans Highway and sped through the parking lot, police said.

While racing away, the car stopped near the Nirvana Fitness Complex and the driver, identified as Nicholas Campbell, 33, of Burlington, New Jersey, fled the vehicle, police said.
Campbell was seen carrying a black bag and a tan shoulder strap bag as he ran toward the fitness complex.

Despite commands to stop, Campbell continued until an officer caught up and detained him at the scene, police said.
A search of Campbellโs bags revealed a large quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine, pre-packaged for distribution, along with various medications, a digital scale with white residue, and new packaging materials, police said.
Campbell was charged with multiple drug-related offenses and evading arrest or detention on foot. Court records showed he was jailed and posted 10 percent of the $100,000 bail, which was put up by a bail bondsman.
