Dustin Lomas was arrested Wednesday evening in a stolen vehicle by Falls Township police, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The teen was subsequently taken to the Bucks County Youth Center, a detention facility, in Doylestown Township, state police said.
Lomas, who resided in the Levittown section of Bristol Township and turns 17 this week, had escaped last Saturday from the Abraxas Academy in Berks County along with 18-year-old Tyler Lutz, of Reading.

The capture of Lutz happened Monday evening at a Popeye’s in Tullytown Borough, and was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Troopers said reports about a sighting of Lomas Tuesday evening in Bristol Township were unfounded and he had not been sighted. The search continued through Wednesday.

The two teens reportedly climbed over a fence at the Abraxas Academy to make their escape Saturday afternoon. The escape went undetected initially allowing them to flee the facility, troopers said.
The academy is located about 55 miles from Bristol Township and is a treatment center for delinquent boys aged 14 to 18. It boasts that it addressed serious behavioral issues.
The reason for the teen’s detention at Abraxas Academy has not been disclosed by the authorities.

This incident marks the second escape from the Abraxas Academy in less than a year. In 2023, nine teenagers managed to overpower two guards and escaped, but they were apprehended within a day.
