The Delaware River in Bristol Borough overflowed its banks after heavy rain.

By late Thursday afternoon, the river spilled its banks after it reached 10.5 feet, which is in the moderate flood stage, according to a National Weather Service gauge across the river in Burlington, New Jersey.
The river is expected to go below flood stage and remain there starting late Thursday night, according to a river forecast.
Photos posted on social media showed several parked vehicles with water filling the Mill Street Parking Lot, which frequently is covered by river water after storms.

Signs at the entrances to the parking lot warns motorists of potential flooding.
The Thursday afternoon river level is lower than crests earlier this month after rain events.

The National Weather Service issued a Coastal Flood Advisory along the Delaware River in Lower Bucks County through Thursday evening.
“At this level, flooding begins on the most vulnerable roads along tidal waterways. Some partial or full road closures are possible,” the statement said.
The Neshaminy Creek spilled its banks in the morning hours following heavy rain.

The National Weather Service reported 2 inches of rain fell in Trenton between Wednesday and Thursday morning.
