Police are working to find out who smashed display cases at a store and made off with a large amount of jewelry.

Officers with the Middletown Township Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at Michael’s Jewelers in the Langhorne Square shopping center on East Lincoln Highway around 8 a.m. Sunday.
Officers arriving found damage to the store’s entrance and several display cases, police said.
A “significant quantity” of jewelry was taken, but the exact value of the stolen items has not yet been determined, police said.

No arrests have been made, and officers processed the scene as part of the ongoing probe, according to police.
