At the Bucks County Justice Center on Thursday, Shakur Ali Brisbon, 25, of Bensalem Township, was sentenced to 7 1/2 to 21 years in a state correctional institution. Court of Common Pleas Judge Raymond McHugh handed down the sentence.
Brisbon sold the fentanyl-laced pill that killed 23-year-old Olivia Seaberg.
The judge listened to victim impact statements Seaberg’s family before deciding the man’s fate.

Bristol Township police responded to an apartment in the 6900 block of Bristol-Emelie Road at 3:55 a.m. on Thanksgiving 2022 following reports of an unresponsive woman.
Seaberg was found on the apartment floor and later pronounced dead, officials said.
Investigators found a blue pill near Seaberg, an empty prescription bottle, marijuana, and her cellphone at the scene, according to police.

A forensic analysis of her phone revealed a social media conversation between Seaberg and Brisbon discussing oxycodone and marijuana purchases.
Lab tests confirmed the blue pill contained fentanyl and the Bucks County Coronerโs Office cited Fentanyl Toxicity as the cause of death for the young woman.
