Man Pleads Guilty To Selling Fentanyl-Laced Pill That Killed Bristol Twp. Woman

A man pleaded guilty this week to selling the pill that led to the overdose death of a woman in Bristol Township.

On Thursday, Shakur Ali Brisbon, 24, of Bensalem Township, faced Bucks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Raymond McHugh and entered a guilty plea for drug delivery resulting in death.

Brisbon was charged in February with the provision of the fatal drug to 23-year-old Olivia Seaberg.

The court deferred his sentencing to a future date.

Bristol Township police responded to a call at 3:55 a.m. at an apartment in the 6900 block of Bristol-Emelie Road on Thanksgiving, November 24, 2022. Officers were dispatched to after reports of a woman not breathing.

Seaberg was found in the apartment on the floor and unresponsive. She was later pronounced dead, according to authorities.

A police investigation revealed a blue pill near Seabergโ€™s body and an empty prescription bottle on a nightstand. Marijuana and Seabergโ€™s cellphone were also recovered from the scene, police said.

A forensic examination of her phone led to the uncovering of a social media exchange between Seaberg and Brisbon. The exchanged discussed the purchase of oxycodone tablets and marijuana.

Lab analysis confirmed that the blue pill found at the scene was laced with Fentanyl, among other substances, authorities said.

The Bucks County Coronerโ€™s Office determined Fentanyl Toxicity as the cause of Seaberg’s death.

Seaberg was employed at a Bristol Township restaurant and bar.

An obituary for Seaberg said she was a Harry S. Truman High School graduate who enjoyed spending time with family.

Since his arrest in February, Brisbon has been detained at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
