
Work to make Levittown Parkway smooth for the first time in years is ongoing.

On Wednesday afternoon, LevittownNow.com saw that crews had milled most of the road surface.
PennDOT and its contractors have been working since October 3 to mill and repave Levittown Parkway and South Oxford Valley Road between Hood Boulevard and Southway Drive to Route 13.
The work spans 3 miles through Falls Township, Bristol Township, and Tullytown Borough.

PennDOT has advised there will be a lane closure on parts of the roadway through Friday, October 21 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
More than a decade has passed since South Oxford Valley Road and Levittown Parkway were were repaved. Despite sealing cracks and patching potholes, the road has deteriorated in recent years.
