Investigation Into Body Found At Maple Beach Continues

Bristol Township police and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office are asking for help from the public as they investigate a body found Sunday.

Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said Friday afternoon that the remains have not yet been identified.

The body was of a man who was approximately 5-feet-6 and with with dark hair.

The decomposing body was found Sunday by local teenagers who were in the Maple Beach area of the township near the Burlington-Bristol Bridge.

The remains appeared to belong to a male and were located at the former tennis courts that are now used for skating, a parent of the teens who found the body told LevittownNow.com.

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday by the coroner’s office.

A cause of death has not yet been released.
