Bristol Township Council has approved two to three new billboards along I-95.

Last month, the council approved a contract with Pacific Outdoor Advertising to erect two to three billboards, with one being electronic, on township property along the busy highway. Solicitor Scott Holbert said exact locations are still being worked out.
The billboard company will pay the township $40,000 per sign yearly, Township Manager Randee Elton said.
Council President Craig Bowen thanked township staff for working out the deal.

“That’s great revenue coming into the township,” he said.
The council also voted to amend the zoning ordinance to allow for the sign to comply with PennDOT’s regulations.
