Firefighters from the Levittown area responded to a fire more than an hour away on Saturday.

A fire that involved buildings and a large area of woods on Rich Hill Road in Richland Township, which sits 32 miles as the crow flies from Levittown.
With conditions ripe for the flames to spread and limited water supply, numerous fire companies from across Bucks, Montgomery and Lehigh counties rushed to the scene. In addition, forest fire crews were brought in along with a helicopter to drop water.
From the Levittown area, the Falls Township, Levittown No. 1, Parkland, and Third District fire companies were called to the upper end of the county to assist with the response to the two-alarm fire.

Levittown-area crews helped Upper Bucks County fire companies put out hot spots at the scene.
WFMZ-TV cited Trumbauersville Fire Company Chief John Cressman as stating the blaze was the first time a helicopter has been used to fight a fire in the region since 1990.

No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not determined as of Sunday morning, according to WFMZ-TV.
