A Montgomery County man was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police in connection with two shootings on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Andre Kenny Mark Green, 29, of Fort Washington, Montgomery County, has been charged with four counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault. He also has been charged with possession of a firearm when prohibited, fraudulent use/removal of registration plate, firearms not to be carried without license, display plate card in improper vehicle, reckless endangerment, and harassment.
Troopers said Green was behind two shootings on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in March.
Both drivers who were shot at were not seriously injured, state police said.

Last Friday around 6 a.m., troopers from the Troop M Criminal Investigation Unit at the Trevose barracks arrested Green at his job in Fairless Hills. Further details on where Green worked were not released.

On March 15 at 2:20 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to the Bensalem Township Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange for the report of a male operating a grey sedan who had shot at another vehicle, which was later identified as a Ford F-150. Upon investigation, two shell casings were recovered at the scene on I-276 westbound.
On March 21 at 2:56 p.m., Troopers were again dispatched to the Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound in the vicinity of mile marker 347 in Bensalem Township for the report of a shooting on the highway. Upon investigation, it was determined a grey Kia Forte, operated by a similar male as the shooting that occurred on March 15, shot at the victim’s vehicle. During the investigation, two projectiles were recovered from the victim’s vehicle.
After the second shooting, the Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center issued an alert to law enforcement following the incidents. Troopers noted at that time that they suspected the two incidents were connected and had photos of the vehicle and suspect, Fox 29’s Steve Keeley reported Monday.

In addition to state police investigators, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
Green was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge Joseph Falcone and held on 10 percent of $850,000 bail.
