Crews were dispatched around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a shed fire in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue. They arrived to find the shed in flames.

Efforts to fight the flames weren’t helped by propane tanks and gas cans that were going off, Croydon Fire Company Chief Tom Tryon said.

No injuries were reported.

There were quads in the shed.

The fire was hot enough to burn 40-feet of vinyl fencing and radiant heat damaged the siding on four neighboring garages and sheds, according to Tryon and Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.

Video posted by fire crews showed the intensity of the fire and the damage it left behind.

The blaze appeared to have started near a wood-burning stove in the shed, Dippolito said.

The Croydon, Newportville, and Third District fire companies responded to the scene.
