Held on the first Wednesday of each month, Family Nights revolve around family well-being, and are hosted by the Family to Family Initiative, a cooperative program of the Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services and Family Service Association of Bucks County.

The November Family Night: Praising Children will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Brookwood Elementary School, and is the first in-person Family Night since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Family Night is a free evening complete with a parent educator led discussion about using positive praise as a discipline technique, supervised childrenโ€™s activities and an engaging parent-child craft to make and take home. The November Family Night will also feature a Thanksgiving theme for story time and crafts.

โ€œFamily Nights are designed to promote parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family well-being. Our parent educators provide families with skills and resources to strengthen families,โ€ said Rachel Minton, M.Ed., Family Strengthening Program Coordinator at Family Service. โ€œWe are excited to be back in person making connections with families in Bucks County.โ€
