October is fire prevention month and that means some local fire stations are hosting open houses. However, the pandemic means there won’t be as many as in past years.

Edgely Fire Company will host a smaller-than-normal open house on Tuesday, October 5 at their station on Edgely Avenue. There will be fire equipment, handouts, a smoke house, light refreshments, and the canoe of cheer fundraiser.
Levittown Fire Company No. 2 will host fire prevention festivities Thursday, October 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the station on County Way in Bristol Township. The event will feature demonstrations and safety information.

The Falls Township Fire Company on Yardley Avenue in Fallsington will host their fire prevention event Saturday, October 9 starting at 10 a.m. and running until 2 p.m.
