Memorial Day Weekend 2021 Events Guide

Memorial Day weekend is a time to remember those who sacrificed everything in service of our country.

After the cancellation of most events last year due to the pandemic, 2021 will be filled with remembrance events in the Levittown area.

With rain in the forecast for the weekend, some events might be impacted.

Saturday

9 a.m.:ย Theย Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Paradeย begins at Ford Avenue in Hulmeville Borough, goes to Main Street and runs along Bellevue Avenue into Penndel Borough. The parade ends with a ceremony at the Penndel Memorial Ball Field. The event will feature veterans, emergency services, and community groups. Cancelled due to rain.

9 a.m.: A Memorial Day remembrance event will take place at the monument at Fallsington Avenue and Main Street in Tullytown Borough.

9:30 a.m.: There will be a ceremony at the monument at the Tullytown Cemetery.

Monday

9 a.m.: The Jesse Soby American Legion Post No. 148 on Richardson Avenue in Langhorne Borough will be the starting point for the communityโ€™s annual Memorial Day ceremony and the following parade. The parade will feature emergency responders, military veterans, musicians, and community groups.

11:30 a.m.: The Croydon Memorial Day Parade begins on State Road and heads to the Joseph A. Schumacher VFW Post at 901 Bellevue Avenue in the Croydon section of Bristol Township. The parade runs along State Road and will feature numerous local groups and emergency responders.
