Croydon Fire Company crews used a ladder to rescue a woman who fled the second floor onto the roof, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

A man jumped from a second-floor balcony. He was treated on the scene by the Bucks County Rescue Squad and transported by Bensalem EMS to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for smoke inhalation and injuries from the fall, Dippolito said.

The fire marshal ruled the blaze an arson, which was being investigated by the Bristol Township Police Department.

The home was divided into three units.

The multi-unit structure had no working smoke alarms, Dippolito said.
