
A two-alarm fire on Jefferson Avenue in Bristol Borough was brought under control late Saturday afternoon.
The fire was first reported early in the afternoon in the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue. Neighbors called 9-1-1 to report smoke coming from the home, according to dispatch records.

Fire crews responded and some time later a second alarm was struck and a thick smoke poured the duplex. Trucks from around Lower Bucks County brought firefighters who worked to snuff out the flames.
No serious injuries were immediately reported.
A neighbor said firefighters remained on the scene for hours.
