
Drivers in the Levittown area should prepare for possible travel delays this week as PennDOT continues several repaving projects across Lower Bucks County.

Starting Monday, April 20, and running through Friday, April 24, PennDOT crews will implement lane closures and flagging operations as part of three local projects.
The work is part of a regional effort to repave and repair 240 miles of state roadways across Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
On Bristol-Oxford Valley Road and Bath Road, lane closures will occur between Route 13 and Lincoln Highway, affecting Bristol Borough and Bristol, Middletown, and Falls townships. Work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

On Comly Avenue and Highland Avenue, flagging will be in place between Bellevue Avenue and Lincoln Highway in Langhorne Manor Borough and Middletown Township. Work hours are set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day.
On Oxford Valley Road, closures are scheduled between Big Oak Road and Stoney Hill Road in Lower Makefield Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

PennDOT officials asking drivers to give extra travel time when passing through these zones, adding backups and delays are expected.
Officials noted that all scheduled work is weather dependent and could be subject to change.
The projects are to seal roadways with new asphalt to provide a safer and smoother surface for motorists.
