The lawsuit by Republicans to throw out more than 2,000 ballots cast within the county is moving forward.
The lawsuit was filed earlier this week by Donald J. Trump for President Inc., Garrity for PA, and Heidelbaugh for Attorney General Inc. The campaigns are represented by Porter Wright Morris and Arthur LLP and Goldstein Law Partners.

Stacy Garrity won her race for treasurer, Heather Heidelbaugh lost her vote for attorney general, and Trump lost the state to former Vice President Joe Biden, according to unofficial election counts.
The lawsuit seeks to have a Bucks County judge invalidate 2,175 “defective ballots” and 76 ballots with unsealed privacy envelops or markings that were accepted by the Bucks County Board of Elections after a review.
In last week’s election, more than 395,500 votes were counted within the count. The unofficial results had Biden earn at least 16,700 more votes than Trump.

While Biden has gained more votes in Pennsylvania and is projected to have won the state, the Trump campaign insists they won the election. However, unofficial statewide tallies show Trump tens of thousands of votes behind Biden.
The filing from Republicans does not allege voter fraud and there has been no evidence of election fraud within the county. Across Pennsylvania, there has also not been evidence of widespread fraud.

Jonathan Goldstein, who is representing Republicans in Bucks County, is also involved in a similar case in neighboring Montgomery County. He told a judge, according to Philadelphia Magazine, that there was no evidence of fraud.
At Tuesday’s Bucks County Board of Elections meeting, Republican attorneys did not state there was any concern of fraud.
Goldstein told county election officials on Monday that his side had “good intentions.”
