The new Family Caregiver Center that launched in summer has opened its doors.
While the center launched in summer and only allowed phone service, a recent ceremony marked the official opening of the physical space located at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.

The idea behind the center is to connect senior citizens and caregivers to area resources and services so they can age-in-place with dignity. The center offers information on medical, social, legal, financial, home safety, and other personal needs for older adults.
Catholic Housing and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will provide dedicated geriatric care managers that will offer geriatric assessments for senior citizens.
The Family Caregiver Center is in partnership with the Catholic Housing and Community Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and St. Mary Medical Center.

“It was wonderful working with Catholic Housing and Community Services to bring the St. Mary Family Caregiver Center to life. We are so excited to help senior patients and their caregivers by providing resources they may not know they have available to them, as we continue to provide much-needed services for older adults in our community during this pandemic and beyond,” said Lisa Kelly, director of community health and well-being and volunteer services at the hospital.
The Family Caregiver Center is located on the ground floor off the main lobby of St. Mary Medical Center.
