In court papers filed by Bristol Township police, they said officers responded to the 7400 block of New Falls Road in Levittown near the county complex around 7:05 p.m. on October 29, 2019 for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Officers found a white Ford Mustang and a gray Dodge Avenger wrecked. Potts was in the Mustang and suffered “critical injuries” along with the driver of the Avenger.
Potts’ Mustang left the eastbound lane of New Falls Road and crossed into the westbound lane, striking the Avenger, police said.
Video footage from the district court along New Falls Road was examined. An officer from Bensalem police determined that the Mustang was traveling 53 mph in the 35 mph zone, according to court papers.

A Bensalem woman traveling westbound on New Falls Road reported swerving away as the Mustang came toward her. She watched the Mustang go behind her vehicle and slide into the Avenger, police said.
According to court papers, Potts’ blood sample taken at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown showed a .184 blood alcohol content and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
