As of Monday, there were 10 Bucks Countians in hospitals with COVID-19 and two were in critical condition on ventilators.

“Our numbers continue to look really good here in Bucks County, and our hospitalizations continue to drop,” Dr. David Damsker, director of the Bucks County Health Department, said in a statement. “We’ve also noticed test results coming back more quickly from the major labs, which is extremely important for our prevention efforts going forward.”

Over the past four days, the county reported two new COVID-19 deaths. A 49-year-old woman died on Sunday and a 94-year-old man died Monday. The two had underlying medical conditions and one was a long-term care facility resident. The 49-year-old woman had been on a ventilator and was infected with COVID-19. She had been fighting the virus since April.
