Police Looking For Trenton Man In Connection With Apartment Shooting

A Trenton man is being sought on aggravated assault and firearms charges following a shooting at a Middletown Township apartment complex.

An arrest warrant and officer awareness bulletin were issued by Middletown Township police for Eric Dawson, 32. Police allege he shot multiple rounds at Building 15 at the Foxwood Manor Apartments between Veterans Highway (Route 413) and Durham Road just before 11 p.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured in the shooting, but several apartments were struck and damaged.

Police said the firearm used in the shooting has not been recovered and Dawson is considered “armed and dangerous.”

Police Captain Pete Feeney said Dawson is suspected of being in the Trenton area and officers are looking for him.

Dawson is described as being 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds.
