Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy made a stop recently at Pizza Di Vita in Fairless Hills for his popular “One Bite” social media series.

The popular sports and culture commentator, who is known for his pizza reviews, visited the restaurant situated in the Oxford Point Shopping Center at the busy intersection of Oxford Valley Road and Lincoln Highway in Falls Township.
In the two-minute, 51-second review video, Portnoy observed that the pie looked more “Greek-style” and voiced approval for its “undercarriage.”
“This is so interesting,” Portnoy said, calling out the “good” texture and crispiness of the slice.

Portnoy awarded the pizza an overall rating of 7.8 out of 10, while handing down a 9.1 rating for its crunch.
“I love the texture. I love the crunch. This one is boggling my brain a little bit,” Portnoy said.

He stated that the pizza was a little dry, adding, “This was a confusing one for me. Maybe I’m a little bit off the game.”
Portnoy, who said he had visited other pizza places in New Jersey that day, offered a final verdict.
“The whole thing is very good,” he said.
The visit is another stop in the area for Portnoy, who has previously reviewed pizza shops in Doylestown, Warminster, and New Hope.

According to The New York Times, Portnoy began reviewing pizza shops in 2013 and built the enterprise into part of his business.
