Police in Bristol Borough are seeking information regarding a “suspicious occurrence” that happened Thursday.
Police said the incident took place Thursday at the Selecto Supermarket parking lot on Pond Street.

The narrative from police:
A customer had just left the market when he was approached by two individuals in a blue Ford Explorer. The female occupant of the vehicle called the customer over to the vehicle and began speaking to him about his rings. The female then attempted to place a ring on his finger and as she did this, the customer felt that she was attempting to remove rings from his finger. The customer then disengaged and left the lot.
The encounter was “very brief” and then the SUV left the lot, police said.
In a statement, police said there is video footage of the lot that shows the same Ford approaching another customer.

According to the police, the woman involved was Hispanic, heavy set with brown hair, and missing teeth. She spoke in broken English. The man who drove the SUV was thin, in his mid-20s, had dark hair, and had a trimmed beard.
