Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said a candle in a bedroom fell when the resident went to the bathroom. The lit, fallen candle sparked the blaze that quickly engulfed the mobile home.

No residents or firefighters were injured. A turtle was rescued from the home, but the kittens were unable to be saved.

It took under 20 minutes for the blaze to be brought under control, Dippolito said.
