Several people were thrown into the river and had to pulled out by nearby boaters and firefighters, according to Edgely Fire Company Chief Brian Cirard.
Members of the nearby Edgely Boat Club jumped into action and pulled several people. Firefighters arrived and assisted, Cirard said.
The chief told LevittownNow.com that three to four people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by medics.
